Lake George Camping And Fort Ticonderoga

On September 12 the boy scouts of Troop 43 set out out for a long journey to Lake George. It was there that the scouts enjoyed lots fishing and swimming to a small island not far from the shore. Overlooking the campsite was Rogers Rock, a historical hill and a great hike.

However, the most memorable part of the trip was by far the reenactment of Brown's Raid at Fort Ticonderoga. An action packed battle filled with cannons and muskets took place just feet away from the crowd and boy was it loud.

The only thing wrong with this trip was the fact that we had to return home, but not before taking full advantage of the long weekend.
