On February 7-8th, Scoutmaster Parker, Assistant Scoutmasters Soscie and Brown attended a weekend workshop at Schiff Scout Reservation on the principles of Leave No Trace.  The program is designed to teach both adults and youth the merits of following the Leave No Trace guidelines, with the ultimate goal of attaining the knowldege and skills to teach those principles to others.  Mr. Soscie did a presentation on Minimizing Campfire Impacts, while Mr. Brown and Mr. Parker shared teaching Disposing of Waste Properly.  All three graduated and now have the distiction of being official Leave No Trace Trainers.
